Incident Reduction through Predictive Analytics for a Multinational Manufacturer of Household Cleaning Supplies


A leading global household good company needed to solve IT infrastructure issues related to non-actionable trouble tickets across the organization. Over 58% of the tickets were non -actionable including 40% related to devices and services downtime, and approximately 18% were capacity related.


GAVS implemented GAVel for AIOps, GCare for monitoring and zMan task automation for elimination of capacity related alerts and elimination of device/service issues along with predictive capabilities. The predictive capability of GAVel eliminated 18% capacity related alerts.


The monitoring capability of GCare and the automation capability of zMan eliminated another 38.8% of alerts related to device/service. Additionally, GAVel’s AI driven correlation capabilities reduced 1% of alerts with a prediction accuracy of 80%.
